Carwash

Thursday, 5
yesterday, we went to qcell headquarter to pay the 30 day prepaid fee for a wireless network. besides we had to enquire about the fact that our connection is always slow to unavailable in the evening. they found out we hadn't 4G saved on our router, but in reality this was not the reason, because it is bad like before. further we went to our local carwash in Bijilo to give our car a shower. next to the carwash they had been building since a while what came out to be the size of five shops. the ground floor is almost finished: a seafood restaurant the size of two shops, a restaurant for Senegalese food, then one that hasn't been rented yet and the last one that should be also a restaurant led by a Fula. Of course my interest was on the one still available. but i knew already it would be expensive. a wonderful location opposite Coco Ocean Hotel, two toilets and an extra room in the back. a lot of walls to present pictures. I called the owner of this property and he told me that they had a fixed price - 300 000 dalasi per year. that is hyperbolic for our humble project, but would make a first class gallery in terms of art business. by the way the Ebunjan Theatre was built by the same contracter who built The House of Culture Tintinto.

Aram's shop

Tuesday, 3
everything is going slow. i feel heavy. like in a dream or as Dali's pictures feel where one's feet stick to the floor and hinder you from moving forward. my days consist of watering the plants in the morning and the evening, breakfast - lunch - dinner, driving to town here and then for errands. my mind stays numb not delivering any motivation. we are two here living in The House of Culture Tintinto, but cannot help each other, because we cannot perceive each other whilst we see each other always. we are just managing to make the living without income nor input nor affirmation on what we are doing is right. and we are tired of telling ourselves always: yes, we are doing well. yeah, the structure is given by the meals and the watering. though, some weeks ago i was lifted by the idea of opening a Gallery for Contempary Arts in town to keep one leg there and to cultivate social contacts. but the woman whose shop i was about to acquire eventually decided to keep it for herself. i continue searching, but by now with negative results. i don't think that a lot of people are concerned about my diary. particuary as it is almost dropping off. nevertheless, i don't give up and if there is someone out there with a shop please contact me.
